Kanza Mental Health & Guidance Center

Goal: $15,000.00

Specific Need

Hello Sabetha Community!

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits.

If you did not know, Kanza Mental Health & Guidance Center, Inc. provides many community-based services in Sabetha, even without an office location. These services include home and school supports for individuals, children, and families through our case management and peer support teams, and for the last two years, we have provided in-school therapy services in the Sabetha schools. This October, we launched an exciting new service called Mobile Crisis Response in which we hired a whole new team of providers who are dedicated to assist those in urgent need and will come to anyone, anywhere they choose (home, school, hospital, community), to help in a behavioral health crisis. This team is staffed 24/7 and is available to anyone in Sabetha (and across all four of our counties).

We are eager to better serve the Sabetha residents and community, and have an urgent need to purchase an additional company vehicle so that we can continue to expand and deliver vital community behavioral health services. Transportation barriers are real for many in our community, and to help overcome this barrier, Kanza employs a large vehicle fleet to equip our community providers for reaching those most vulnerable in our community so that they have access to quality behavioral health care. The purchase of another vehicle is key to reaching individuals who may not have the means to come to our center but are in desperate need of our support.

The Kanza Mental Health Foundation is seeking your support to help make this vision a reality. With your financial contribution, your support will go directly to funding the purchase of a new vehicle which will make a significant impact on Kanza's ability to reach more community members.

Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Jackie Feathers

Chief Executive Officer
