Sabetha FFA Alumni Association

Specific Need

Our FFA Almuni Association supports our Sabetha FFA Chapter by working to provide Scholarships and help fund chapter activities. We have funded FFA Chapter Scholarships for post-secondary education at the level of $2500-3000 per year for the last several years for Sabetha FFA Chapter Seniors who demonstrate leadership and strong involvement in FFA. Post-Secondary education is becoming more expensive. Our Sabetha FFA Chapter is growing and more members are achieving success in FFA. This means we need to expand our Post-Secondary Scholarship Program. We also provide awards for Sabetha FFA member achievement in FFA Proficiency Awards for successful Superviesed Agricultural Experiences. A few years ago, our Alumni Association committed to raise $10,000 for the Sabetha FFA Plant Science Laboratory (Greenhouse). We are proud to say we exceeded our goal and the Plant Science Lab is functional and providing additional opportunities for non-traditional agricultural student to grow and achieve in FFA and in life.

Mission

To provide Scholarships to Seniors that have been active and a positive influence in there FFA participation. Encourage FFA members to go the extra mile with there SAE projects, and help the chapter with activities.
