Brown County Humane Society

Goal: $15,000.00

Specific Need

The Brown County Humane Society (BCHS) continues to expand its outreach in Nemaha County and the Sabetha area, helping families and pets through education, preventive care, and training. Our goal is to strengthen the connection between people and animals while improving the overall well-being of pets in our communities.

Funds raised through Give to Grow will be used evenly across several outreach priorities:

•Spay and neuter education and services to prevent unwanted litters and reduce overpopulation

•Rabies vaccination support to keep pets and communities safe

•Pet food assistance for families experiencing hardship

•Professional dog training to help shelter dogs develop social skills and increase their chances for adoption

As a nonprofit, the support and compassion from our community make everything we do possible. We rely on the generosity and partnership of caring individuals like you to continue this work. Thank you for helping us make a lasting difference for animals and families across our region.

Mission

The purpose of this society is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals and the extension of humane education.

We accept animals from the surrounding communities; we have no boundaries when it comes to animals in need.

We work diligently to give the animal’s good care during their stay at the shelter and find them the best homes possible.
