Specific Need

The Kids Kloset is currently raising funds to Purchase and remodel the Historic Building at 118 Washington street, a larger, more accessible space to serve more families within USD 113 and surrounding areas. Our current location limits the amount of clothing, shoes, and toiletry items we can store and distribute.

Funds raised through this campaign will directly support the purchase and renovation of the building, shelving for organized storage, and essential supplies to continue providing free, quality clothing and personal items to children in need. Every dollar helps us create a clean, welcoming, and sustainable space where families can shop with dignity—at no cost to them.

Your gift will help ensure that every child has what they need to feel confident, warm, and cared for—whether it’s a new coat for winter, shoes that fit, or hygiene items to start the school year strong.

The Kids Kloset exists to ensure that every child in USD 113 and the surrounding communities has access to essential clothing, shoes, and personal care items—completely free of charge. Our mission is to support families in need, promote dignity and confidence in children, and strengthen our community through compassion, generosity, and local connection.

Profile

The Kids Kloset is a volunteer-run nonprofit based in Sabetha, Kansas, serving children and families within USD 113 and surrounding rural communities. Since opening, we’ve helped hundreds of local children receive new and gently used clothing, shoes, coats, and hygiene items at no cost to their families.

We believe that no child should have to go without the basics. By partnering with local schools, churches, and community members, The Kids Kloset identifies families in need and provides discreet, supportive assistance year-round.
