Morrill Community Chamber of Commerce Fund

Specific Need

1. Our organization plans to update or construct a new concession stand for use at Morrill Days. We sponsor a softball tournament, and we would like to better accommodate community members with updated restrooms and an improved facility.

2. Our organization has interest in replacing some of the playground equipment in the Morrill City Park.

3. We plan to continue maintenance and rental of the Morrill Community Center.

Mission

The Morrill Community Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to promoting and sponsoring programs for children and members of the community to foster a strong sense of community and to have a lasting impact on the future.

Profile

Each year, our organization sponsors an Easter egg hunt and a visit from Santa for local children. In addition, we sponsor Morrill Days, a weekend event in August, full of activities for the whole family. It's an opportunity for members of our community to join together for a celebration.

Our organization maintains the Morrill Community Center, and through donations and the hard work of volunteers, we are able to offer the center at an affordable rental rate to community members. We provide the building free of charge to the Morrill Fire Department and for children in the 4-H club and the preschool story hour.
