USD 113 Career Symposium Fund

Mission

The USD 113 Career Symposium Fund was established in 2026 to support the career development of students across the district. Specifically, the Career Symposium is an annual event held in November in which students across the district interact with community members & beyond to learn about post-secondary opportunities and possibilities for pursuing them. Students participate in sessions about health & wellness, financial literacy, ACT prep, interviewing, and more. The culminating activity for our seniors is an interview followed by a formal meal with etiquette training. The generosity of donors has allowed us to continue to offer an assortment of activities for our students to grow their post-secondary readiness.
